About the job

The Hydraulic Cylinder manufacturing facility is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a diverse team of mechanical engineers in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The manager will oversee the successful production of hydraulic cylinders for OEMs worldwide, handling the full engineering lifecycle. Responsibilities include manufacturability reviews, issue resolution, quality improvements, and serving as a production communication liaison.

Team Leadership

• Support the successful fulfillment of customer contractual requirements related to the delivery and quality of our products and services.
• Lead the day to day activities of a engineering team of manufacturing & engineering technician specialists.
• Coach and offer guidance and assistance to team members to further mature their problem-solving techniques.
• Conduct reviews with the team for continuous improvement and adherence to processes and procedures.
• Provide input on individual and team performance and career development guidance.

Ideal Candidate -

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.

- 7+ years of experience in engineering, operations, or production environments focused on problem-solving, multitasking, and customer satisfaction.

- Proven ability to coach and mentor team members effectively

- Working knowledge of project management and estimating is required, with prior experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

- Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, ERP systems, and SolidWorks modeling software is essential.
