Want to lead cutting-edge manufacturing operations that directly support the UK’s defence capability? We’re looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead my client’s Manufacturing team in Bristol, you will drive excellence across production, engineering and in service support.

** Please note due to the nature of the role and programmes involved, current SC Clearance required or eligible and happy to undergo (to be eligible for this, need to be a British )

The Role

As Manufacturing Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading daily operations, ensuring safe and efficient delivery, and upholding the highest standards of quality. You’ll play a key role in new product introductions, technology transfers and the continuous improvement of our production systems.

This is a leadership position where you’ll guide and develop high performing teams, drive performance against quality, cost, delivery and safety KPIs and ensure our processes remain compliant, auditable, and future-ready.

What You’ll Be Doing

✅ Lead daily manufacturing operations across production & engineering teams

✅ Drive efficiency, quality, and safety across the production system

✅ Manage schedules, resources, and workflows to hit delivery targets

✅ Oversee KPIs and budgets, ensuring strong operational performance

✅ Promote continuous improvement & lean manufacturing initiatives

✅ Ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements
