Responsibilities
- Design and optimize General/Final Assembly processes across Trim, Chassis & Final (TCF).
- Develop assembly sequences, line layouts, and line-balancing improvements.
- Support AGVs, conveyors/skillet systems, automated tooling, and torque/fastening equipment.
- Lead/support equipment installation, commissioning, FAT/SAT, and new vehicle launches.
- Develop and maintain PFMEA, standard work instructions, and process documentation.
- Drive root-cause analysis, cycle-time reduction, quality, ergonomics, and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with Product Engineering and suppliers on DFM/DFA, RFQs, and manufacturing feasibility.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
- 2–5+ years of automotive manufacturing experience, preferably in General/Final Assembly.
- Experience with AGVs, conveyors, skillet systems, torque/fastening tools, or automated assembly equipment.
- Knowledge of PFMEA, Lean Manufacturing, 8D/Six Sigma, and root-cause analysis.
- Experience with CATIA, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD tools.
- Understanding of OSHA, LOTO, and manufacturing safety requirements.
- Experience with new product/vehicle launches and equipment commissioning .
