Title: Manufacturing Engineer II – Assembly // Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Waterloo, IA - 50704
Duration: 12 Months (possible extension)
3rd Shift: 10:30 PM Sunday Night – 7 AM Friday Morning
Description:
As (OFP Manufacturing Engineer) for (Engine Works) located in (Waterloo, IA), You Will:
- Provide support and basic trouble shooting for current operations.
- Investigates, gathers, and analyze data for specifically assigned, recurring tasks.
- Establish routings, methods, layouts, tools, costs, methods documentation, quality plans and labor standards for revisions to current operations and/or new parts or programs of limited scope.
- Develop and/or procure tooling and mistake proofing for new processes and/or new parts.
- Participates in Continuous Improvement (CI) teams.
What Skills You Need (Required Skills / Experiences):
- One or more years of demonstrated factory support and manufacturing engineering knowledge (routings, methods, layouts, tools, costs, capacity plans/line design, methods documentation, maintenance, quality plans and labor standards, troubleshooting, etc.).
- Work experience in a team environment; skills in interpersonal communications, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
What Makes You Stand Out (Desired Skills / Experiences):
- Experience with SAP; knowledge of DC Electric torque equipment.
- Understanding of manufacturing execution systems (MES); robotics experience.
Education:
- Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following: Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology or related experience.
- Previous manufacturing, robotics, factory automation experience a plus.
