If youre motivated by continuous improvement and excited by the idea of building the future of mobility, youll fit right in.What Youll DoLead the mechanical elements of New Product Introduction (NPI), designing assembly lines,defining efficient assembly methods, tooling, andequipmentDevelop andoptimisemechanical assembly processes, ensuring repeatability, quality, and efficiencyApply structured problem-solving to resolveelectro-mechanical and production-related issues, including root cause analysisDrive Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA), improving product robustness, ease of assembly, and cost efficiencyDesign and implement jigs, fixtures, andtoolingto support safe and efficient productionAnalyseproduction layouts, workflows, and equipment tooptimisemechanical build processes and throughputWork closely withour global design authoritiesto influence product design and improve manufacturabilitySupport and train production teams on mechanical assembly techniques, tools, and best practicesWhat Youll BringElectro-Mechanical Engineering Knowledge: Strong understanding of mechanical assemblies combined with electrical integration, wiring, and system buildProblem-Solving Capability: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex production issues across mechanical and electrical domainsContinuous Improvement Mindset: Experience improving assembly processes, tooling, and product design using structured methodologiesCollaborative Communication: Confident working cross-functionally with design, production, and quality teamsExperience & QualificationsRequiredHNC or Degree in Mechanicalor Electro-Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience)Proven experience working with electro-mechanical systems in a manufacturing settingAbility to interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and assembly documentationStrong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, production methodsand flowDesiredExperience working with electronic systems, including PCB assemblies (through-hole and surface mount)Experience implementing Lean or Six Sigma practices in a manufacturing environmentExperience designing tooling, jigs, or fixturesusing3D CADsoftware packagesWe offer:Competitive base salary with an annual bonus.Continuous training and learning opportunities to support career development.26 days of holiday, increasing up to 29 with length of service.37.5-hour working week.Excellent pension, with matching contributions up to 10% of pensionable salary.Flexible benefits package to suit your personal needs.Investment in personal development and support for membership of professional institutions.How do I apply?We can only accept online applications.
