Job Description

A Manufacturing Engineer/ Aerospace Manufacturing Engineer/ Manufacturing Technician/ Production Engineer is required for a leading high-precision aerospace manufacturer based in Poole.

The Manufacturing Engineer will play a key role in planning efficient manufacturing processes, producing high-quality job packs, and supporting production teams to ensure smooth, compliant, and cost-effective operations.

Manufacturing Engineer/ Aerospace Manufacturing Engineer/ Manufacturing Technician/ Production Engineer role:

    \n
  • Determine and plan optimal manufacturing methods and processes for aerospace components.

    \n
  • \n

  •  Plan efficient manufacturing processes
  • \n

  • Produce detailed workshop job packs to AS9100 standards for the shop floor

    \n
  • \n

  • Provide hands-on technical support to production teams.

    \n
  • \n

  • Identify, specify, and organise tooling requirements for new parts.

    \n
  • \n

Requirements:

    \n
  • Proven experience as a Manufacturing Engineer/ Aerospace Manufacturing Engineer/ Manufacturing Technician/ Production Engineer 

    \n
  • \n

  • Experience in Aerospace or other high precision manufacturing is required. 
  • \n

  • Strong understanding of machining processes, manufacturing methods, and materials.

  • \n

  • Good knowledge of surface treatments and secondary processes.

    \n
  • \n

  • Ability to interpret customer drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

    \n
  • \n

  • Commutable to Poole. 
  • \n

  • Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.

  • \n

  • CAD experience (ideally CATIA) is beneficial.

    \n
  • \n

  • Experience with AS1900 is beneficial. 
  • \n

  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to balance cost, quality, and manufacturability.

  • Knowledge of UKAS standards is beneficial. 
  • \n
