Job Description
A Manufacturing Engineer/ Aerospace Manufacturing Engineer/ Manufacturing Technician/ Production Engineer is required for a leading high-precision aerospace manufacturer based in Poole.
The Manufacturing Engineer will play a key role in planning efficient manufacturing processes, producing high-quality job packs, and supporting production teams to ensure smooth, compliant, and cost-effective operations.

Manufacturing Engineer/ Aerospace Manufacturing Engineer/ Manufacturing Technician/ Production Engineer role:
- \n
- Determine and plan optimal manufacturing methods and processes for aerospace components.
\n - Plan efficient manufacturing processes
- Produce detailed workshop job packs to AS9100 standards for the shop floor
\n - Provide hands-on technical support to production teams.
\n - Identify, specify, and organise tooling requirements for new parts.

Requirements:
- \n
- Proven experience as a Manufacturing Engineer/ Aerospace Manufacturing Engineer/ Manufacturing Technician/ Production Engineer
\n - Experience in Aerospace or other high precision manufacturing is required.
- Strong understanding of machining processes, manufacturing methods, and materials.
\n - Good knowledge of surface treatments and secondary processes.
\n - Ability to interpret customer drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
\n - Commutable to Poole.
- Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
\n - CAD experience (ideally CATIA) is beneficial.
\n - Experience with AS1900 is beneficial.
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to balance cost, quality, and manufacturability.
\n - Knowledge of UKAS standards is beneficial.
