Manufacturing Engineer in Pickering

Baltic Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a leading advanced manufacturing business with their search for a Manufacturing Engineer to join their growing team based in Kirkbymoorside.

The successful candidate will play a key role in improving manufacturing processes, supporting production teams, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within a complex engineering environment. Experience within composites is advantageous, but candidates with transferable manufacturing engineering skills are encouraged to apply.

\n

Key Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Identify and implement process improvements using Lean manufacturing techniques.

\n

• Support production teams with process plans, job cards, and manufacturing documentation.

\n

• Lead problem-solving activities and root cause analysis to reduce repeat issues.

\n

• Support first-off builds, tooling requirements, and manufacturing improvements.

\n

• Work closely with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to improve efficiency and product performance.

\n

\n

Key Requirements:

\n

\n
• Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment.

\n

• Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques and problem-solving methods.

\n

• Strong communication and organisational skills.

\n

• Engineering qualification (ONC/HNC) or relevant industry experience.

\n

• Composites experience would be advantageous, but transferable manufacturing experience will be considered.
