Senior Manufacturing Engineer\n\nLuton\n\n12-Month Contract\n\nPaying up to £46.50p/h (Inside IR35)\n\nPlease note - due to the nature of the work you will need to hold a high level of UK Security clearance\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nDeveloping manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment; understanding feedback from operators, conferring with equipment vendors or external suppliers\nParticipating and supporting Manufacturing Maturity Reviews, maintaining governance through the Lifecycle Management process and creating/contributing to Manufacturing Plans\nProviding manufacturing decision-making information to aid the: \nreview of production schedules; reviewing production labour and material costs; estimating future requirements\npreparation of product and process reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising information and trends\nBuilding prototype products, writing work instructions and training manufacturing staff\nResolving routine, and some complex, product and/or production issues and constraints (relieving bottlenecks) on the shop floor, reacting efficiently to escalation from manufacturing teams\nImproving manufacturing efficiency by participating in capacity analysis, simulation planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment/process layout \n\nRequired Experience\n\nEducated to HND or Degree level in a relevant Engineering discipline, e.g. Manufacturing, Process, Electronics, Mechanical\nAbility to take ownership of a work package; planning and scheduling own workload\nExperience in capability and / or process development\nDemonstrated knowledge of more than one phase of the Product Life Cycle and the associated discipline processes\nExcellent practical knowledge of manufacturing processes and principles\nAbility to influence and negotiate with others using data and analysis to support line of reasoning\nDisclaimer:\n\nThis vacancy is being advertised by either Advanced Resource Managers Limited, Advanced Resource Managers IT Limited or Advanced Resource Managers Engineering Limited ("ARM").
