As a Manufacturing Engineer III, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our manufacturing. Your primary focus will be on designing, implementing, and optimizing production systems to ensure high-quality output while minimizing costs. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and develop innovative solutions that align with our strategic goals. This position requires a deep understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing technologies, as well as the ability to lead projects from conception through execution. Ultimately, your contributions will directly impact our production capabilities and drive the success of our operations in Florida.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering or related role.
- Proficiency in CAD software and manufacturing simulation tools.
- Strong understanding of lean/Six Sigma manufacturing principles and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, root cause analysis.
- Experience working in an ISO certified facility.
- Background working in Metals Manufacturing.
- Background working in Plastic Injection Molding Manufacturing.
- Self managing, self starter is a must.
- Can do attitude.
Qualifications:
- Experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies and certifications.
- Familiarity with automation and robotics in manufacturing.
- Previous experience in durable goods manufacturing.
- Previous experience in Medical Device manufacturing.
- Leadership experience in project management.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to enhance quality, productivity and reduce cost.
- Develop and implement process control plans and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with design engineers to ensure manufacturability of new products.
- Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives to address production issues.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for new manufacturing technologies.
Skills:
The required skills, such as proficiency in CAD software, will be utilized daily to create and modify designs that enhance manufacturing processes. Analytical skills will be essential for conducting root cause analyses and identifying areas for improvement in production efficiency.
