Job DescriptionInside the Role
Support manufacturing operations with an engineering focus on optimizing production processes to improve safety and ergonomics, efficiency, and first-time quality. Ensure Production has the necessary tools and process needed to be successful in building trucks. Evaluate new product designs to develop and implement related manufacturing processes.

Position offers a starting salary range of $86,000 - $110,000 USD
Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience

What You Drive at DTNA:
- \n
- \nPreSeries Coordinator: Communicate production impacts before PreSeries, collect feedback during and report findings after.
- \nTemplate Coordinator: Manage ISO process for tracking templates/ assembly aides used by production.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide technical expertise in integrating equipment, systems, materials, and processes into a cohesive, cost efficient, and productive manufacturing system.
- Integrate DC tools into the assembly process for safety critical joints.
- Interface with production departments to specify type and kind of equipment needs.
- Evaluate current manufacturing processes for improvement opportunities. Recommend process changes and coordinate the implementation of these changes into production.
- Review new or revised product offerings and identify production requirements. Suggest product design modifications where applicable.
- Make new /modification of existing equipment recommendations as part of the review process.
- Prepare capital project requests and manage their implementation.
- Apply practical problem-solving techniques to resolve systemic failures in the process or with equipment.
- Resolve risk/issues with a sense of urgency.

Knowledge You Should Bring:

- Bachelor of Science in Engineering / Engineering Technology or Related Technical Field
- Proficient with CAD systems
- Proficient with MS Excel and Project
- Provides informal guidance to new team members
- experience leading projects or processes as required
