Job Description

MTrec’s new career opportunity\n\nWe are currently seeking a highly motivated and proactive Manufacturing Engineer to join our clients team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in subcontract engineering and possess the necessary skills to support production and sales.\n\nThe Job you’ll do\n\n * Generate accurate parts lists, Bills of Materials, and manufacturing routes to support estimating and production teams.\n\n * Ensure completeness and accuracy in documentation.\n\n * Manage and oversee customer projects to fulfil customer requirements.\n\n * Assist in the preparation of detailed quotations by providing technical input and data.\n\n * Create and control the issue of new works orders ready for production.\n\n * Ensure compliance with operational and quality procedures throughout the process.\n\n * Facilitate final sign-off and distribution of completed paperwork to relevant teams.\n\n * Generate purchase orders for materials and subcontracted services.\n\n * Support the purchase of consumable items and factory floor supplies.\n\n * Act as a point of contact for customer inquiries and provide updates on order progress.\n\n * Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and professionally.\n\n * Contract review quotes and route cards to ensure all engineering information is correct before production.\n\n * Produce technical drawings for internal laser cutting, machining and welding fixtures.\n\n * ISO Compliance:\n\n * Ensure adherence to ISO standards and procedures.\n\n * Maintain records and documentation in compliance with ISO requirements.\n\nAbout you\n\n * Strong understanding of engineering principles and processes.\n\n * A highly motivated and proactive person who can demonstrate successful experience in a similar subcontract engineering background.\n\n * Experience with laser cutting, punching, folding, machining, welding tooling and project management.\n\n * Several years’ experience in the use of ERP / MRP system (training will be given).\n\n * Strong attention to detail and accuracy.\n\n * Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products.\n\n * Proficiency in 2D / 3D computer-aided design (CAD) software would be a major advantage.\n\nThe Rewards and the Benefits:\n\n * Company pension.\n\n * On-site parking.\n\n * Work Location: In person
