The company are recruiting a manufacturing engineer to join a diverse team of engineer professionals and contribute to the improvement of operations and manage a caseload of engineering projects.

The Job you will do:
* Create, amend, and optimise CNC programs and associated tooling data.
* Participate in feasibility reviews to support effective planning and decision-making.
* Analyse existing manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
* Liaise with external tooling suppliers to drive cost savings and implement tooling enhancements.
* Lead engineering projects from initial concept through to successful completion.
* Provide technical support and guidance to shop-floor personnel during setup and machining activities.
* Perform any other reasonable duties required to support operational and business needs.
About you:
* Strong knowledge of CNC turning and milling processes (Essential).
* Experienced in CNC programming, including Fanuc-controlled turning and milling machines.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Exceptional attention to detail.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Able to make well-considered decisions and communicate them effectively.
* Proficient in PC applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Willingness to undertake new tasks and responsibilities as required
