Manufacturing EngineerLocation : Leicester Hours : Monday to Thursday 08:00 16:30 | Friday 08:00 14:00Pay : £55,000.00-£60,000.00 per yearAbout the CompanyA precision engineering business operating within regulated manufacturing environments, supporting complex machining and production activities for the Aerospace sector.The RoleAn opportunity has arisen for a Manufacturing Engineer to support machining, production, and new product introduction activities within a precision manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport daily operations meetings and take ownership of Manufacturing Engineering issuesCreate and control manufacturing documentation including SOPs, set-up packs and work instructionsSupport NPDI activities including cost estimates, manufacturing routes and customer approvalsEnsure tooling and fixturing is available to support safe and efficient productionCreate and validate CNC programs to meet quality and cycle time requirementsSupport LEAN and continuous improvement activities across EHS, Quality, Cost and DeliveryApply structured problem-solving methods to improve process and quality capabilitySupport internal and external audits and implement corrective actionsAbout YouExperience within an Aerospace production environmentHND or higher in Electronic Engineering or similarStrong knowledge of CNC machining techniquesAbility to interpret complex engineering drawingsCAD / CAM experience (SolidWorks / CAM )Competent in Microsoft OfficeAble to work independently and use own initiativeAligned to company values including Respect, Integrity, Safety and ExcellenceHow to ApplyTo apply for the Manufacturing Engineer position, click Apply Now and upload your CV.
