The Manufacturing Engineer will obtain solutions for various manufacturing issues as well as provide support to manufacturing by identifying and implementing product and process improvements while maintaining the quality plan.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Creates and maintains quality plan including updating documents, developing processes and specifying materials.
- Verifies product specifications through various testing and auditing procedures.
- Works with production personnel to maintain accurate labor standards.
- Provides solutions to production problems related to materials, processes, and tooling.
- Continually evaluates manufacturing processes and implements improved processes and new technologies.
- Confers with equipment and material manufacturers to improve knowledge of product design, processes, tooling, and materials.
- Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, equipment layout and product requirements.
- Provides technical support and troubleshooting to the sales department and external customers.
- Creates and maintains product and manufacturing process documentation.
- Works with governmental agencies to maintain compliance with product and workplace regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Outstanding ability to work as part of a team.
- Extensive knowledge of production principles and techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess problems or issues with manufacturing processes.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Proficient with AutoCAD & Inventor software.
- Proficient with production planning systems (MRP).
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology or related field .
- Three years of relevant work experience required.
- Experience at a small manufacturing company .
- Advanced training or certification in relevant fields .
