This individual contributor role plays a critical part in driving improvements in safety, quality, cost, and throughput while partnering closely with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams.This position is well suited for a hands-on engineer who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys solving real-time production challenges while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.Role & Responsibility:Tasks That Will Lead To Your Success

  • Develop, improve, and maintain manufacturing processes, tooling, and documentation to support efficient production.
  • Maintain and update Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings, and work centers within ERP/MRP systems.
  • Partner closely with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to support daily manufacturing operations and troubleshoot issues.
  • Identify and implement process improvements focused on safety, quality, cost reduction, and operational efficiency.
  • Support new product introductions (NPI) through process development, documentation, validation, and operator training.
  • Conduct time studies, process capability analysis, and performance data collection to drive manufacturing improvements.
  • Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) activities for process and quality issues.
  • Assist with the selection, procurement, installation, and validation of new equipment and tooling as required.
  • Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and problem-solving methodologies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned in support of manufacturing objectives.

Skills & ExperienceQualifications That Will Help You ThriveRequired Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in a Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, or similar role within a manufacturing environment
    (Internships and co-op experience will be considered)
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and implement practical solutions. Experience supporting production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience working with ERP/MRP systems, including BOMs and routings.
  • Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement tools.
  • Experience supporting new product introductions and process validation activities.
