✈️ Now Hiring: Manufacturing Engineer | Aerospace Manufacturing
Sky Limit Systems is partnering with a growing aerospace manufacturer that’s investing in smarter processes, better tools, and stronger teams — and they’re looking for a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to help drive that change.
This is a full-time, onsite role for a mechanically inclined problem-solver who thrives on the production floor. You’ll design tooling and fixtures, lead continuous improvement projects, and play a key role in building a leaner, more efficient operation. It’s ideal for someone who’s ready to grow — both technically and as a future leader.
What You’ll Do:
- Design, develop, and implement tooling, fixtures, and process improvements to enhance production efficiency and quality
- Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize manufacturing flow
- Lead and manage continuous improvement initiatives focused on waste reduction, throughput, and cost savings
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for production challenges
- Document standard work procedures and support lean transformation efforts across the floor
- Oversee small to mid-scale improvement projects from concept through implementation
- Serve as a technical mentor and potential future leader within the manufacturing team
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field)
- 3+ years of experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing
- Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience building or designing tooling and fixtures
- Working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement methodologies
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership potential
- Ability to thrive in a non-lean environment and drive measurable improvements
- Someone eager to learn every part of the operation and grow into a supervisory or lead role
Why This Opportunity:
This role is for an engineer who doesn’t just want to maintain — but to build, improve, and lead. You’ll gain exposure to multiple product lines, learn how every part of the business operates, and play a key role in shaping a more efficient production environment. If you’re ready to roll up your sleeves, lead projects, and grow into leadership, Sky Limit Systems wants to meet you.
