Job Description

Jr. Manufacturing Engineer

Temp-Perm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Use SolidWorks CAD software to optimize design using customer supplied drawings/models.
• Develop flat patterns (cam process)
• Verify incoming work orders for accuracy.
• Assist customers with design improvements.
• Provide detailed build drawings to production floor as required.
• Assist production with design and tooling issues.
• Manage change requests from customers and floor personnel and maintain controlled documentation.
• Review peer drawings and programs for accuracy.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical school certificate in related field of study.
• 1-3 years of SolidWorks CAD experience.
• Knowledge in CNC cutting equipment (also plasma, laser, waterjet cutting, etc.)
• Experience and/or knowledge of metal fabrication.
• Three years of programming experience in a manufacturing environment. (Can include internships)
• Technical skills to support position including Microsoft Excel.
