At Electric Power Systems (EPS), we're not just building batteries-we're powering the future of flight, transit, and innovation. As a leading supplier of energy storage systems for aerospace, military, and transportation applications, our mission is to power upward mobility by providing smarter, safer, more reliable, lighter, and certifiable battery solutions. Headquartered in beautiful North Logan, Utah, EPS is the ideal place to grow your engineering career while contributing to technology that is reshaping how the world moves.
We're currently looking for a Manufacturing Engineer 3 who thrives on solving complex problems, optimizing production processes, and taking ownership of continuous improvement initiatives. If you're excited about working on groundbreaking energy technology and want to make a measurable impact, this could be your next great opportunity.
In this role, you'll be at the center of our advanced manufacturing operations. You'll plan and design production processes across multiple lines, ensuring that equipment, tools, and workflows are optimized for peak performance. Whether you're analyzing production data, reconfiguring layouts, or spearheading cost-reduction projects, your goal will be to drive quality, efficiency, and scalability. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where your technical expertise and leadership will help shape the future of our manufacturing strategy.
You'll serve as a key collaborator with operations, quality, and design engineering teams to ensure the seamless manufacturability of new and existing products. Your day-to-day will involve developing detailed process documentation, troubleshooting production issues, and mentoring junior engineers. Your contributions won't just improve the way we manufacture products -they'll enhance the safety and reliability of next- aerospace systems.
We're looking for someone with a bachelor's degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering and at least four years of experience designing and optimizing manufacturing processes. Ideally, you've worked in aerospace, energy storage, or another high-tech environment and are familiar with the challenges of producing cutting-edge components at scale. You should be comfortable working independently, managing complex projects, and bringing cross-functional teams together to solve problems. Proficiency in CAD (preferably SolidWorks), process simulation tools, and statistical analysis will serve you well here.
Bonus points if you're Lean or Six Sigma certified, experienced in welding or machining processes, or familiar with aerospace certification standards such as AS9100. A background in ERP/MRP systems or MES platforms will also give you an edge, especially if you've supported high-mix, low-volume production environments.

This is more than just a job-it's a chance to contribute to a team that is advancing the future of electric mobility. At EPS, you'll have the opportunity to learn from industry leaders, tackle exciting challenges, and be part of a mission-driven company that values innovation, integrity, and teamwork.
