Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled, hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. This is a highly visible, independent role offering the opportunity to lead, grow, and improve the engineering and machining processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Independently set up, program, and operate 5-axis CNC milling centers.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and R&D teams to optimize machining processes.
- Configure tooling, fixtures, and workpieces to achieve maximum accuracy and repeatability.
- Monitor machining cycles and make real-time adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to machinists and production personnel.
- Troubleshoot CNC programming, machine operation issues, and robotic system malfunctions.
- Read and interpret AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Mastercam drawings and models to ensure exact specifications.
- Optimize machining sequences and build control plans for complex geometries, precision components, and prototypes.
- Conduct process improvement initiatives to enhance cycle times, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.
- Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 13485 quality standards and safety protocols.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 10–12 years of hands-on experience with 5-axis CNC machining and programming.
- Experience with robotic loading systems and automated machining centers.
- Strong understanding of G-code, AutoCAD, Mastercam, and SolidWorks.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field .
- Proven ability to mentor, train, and support machinists and operators in implementing advanced processes.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for CNC machines, robotic integrations, and process inefficiencies.
- Experience with precision engineering and machining components to tight tolerances.
