Position Summary:

Job Description:

  • Responsibilities:
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Professional work background in electronics or related field.
  • Demonstrated understanding of New Product Introduction process.
  • Experience with Project Management, Design for Manufacturability and Assembly (DFMA), and Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
  • Experience with SAP or another Enterprise Resource Planning system.
  • Experience leading project teams to ensure manufacturing validation strategies are efficient and stream-lined with an end-to-end perspective.
  • Project management experience
  • Manage and communicate project timelines and action plans to provide test solutions on time and budget.
  • Mentor others in within Industrialization Design PCBA team across multiple areas to build expertise within the team and partners
  • Serve as the Industrialization representative, in all phases, on NPI/Continuation Engineering project teams.
  • Collaborate with design team to transition PCBA from development to manufacturing and work with in defining design for assembly guidelines.
  • Develop and update the Manufacturing Specification Design Plan
  • Identify assembly equipment, tooling, and fixture requirements.
  • Potentially, support the procurement, installation, and validation activities.
  • Lead Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) analyses.
  • Track product manufacturing cost throughout the NPI project.
  • Lead Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA).
  • Create Documented Work Instructions (DWI).
  • Ensure compliance to all production environmental, health, and safety requirements.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor of Science or BE in Engineering - Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
