Philadelphia Technician Training Institute is a growing school with a rapidly growing Automation/Electrical Manufacturing program. We are seeking a Manufacturing Instructor with an Industrial Maintenance background to teach various technical training courses.
Successful candidates will have 2 to 4 years proven track record in Allen Bradley and Seimen's programmable logic controls, robotics, motor controls, hydraulics and pneumatics, automated systems, quality, mechanical/electrical design in high speed processes, fluid process and transfer, energy systems, profitability, project management and re-engineering factory systems and equipment at the hands-on level.
Selected applicants will be teaching basic to advance PLC programming and control systems. This position will emphasize on hands-on training, understanding of Logic gate, Ohms Law and applying this knowledge to manufacturing systems such as motors, pneumatics & hydraulics. Strong knowledge in AC/DC electrical power systems.
Qualifications:
· Experience working with equipment in a manufacturing setting (mechanical & electrical)
· Some level of teaching or training experience
· Ability to communicate well with others & work in a team environment
· Proficient in Allen Bradley, Siemens PLC programming & troubleshooting
. Industrial electrical systems (AC/DC)
· Candidates with Robotics experience
· Associate's degree in Industrial Maintenance
· 5 years direct experience in the manufacturing industry strongly
· Teach the manufacturing side of electricity in the classroom
· Design and develop lesson that follows new industry trends
· Create exciting labs and lectures that captivate your students
· Share your personal on-the-job experiences in industry
· Network with other professionals & build ties to industry projects
· Share your passion and excitement for the electrical industry with prospective students and their families
· Assist in the hands-on training instruction on the various Engineering safety standards, work procedures, and operating practices with students
· Assist in providing technical, logistical support to ensure the successful completion of assigned project tasks within the classroom
Pay Rate: Depends on experience/qualifications
