Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager in the Renewable Energy sector. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing renewable energy projects from inception to completion, ensuring they align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. This position requires strong leadership skills, financial acumen, and a comprehensive understanding of project management methodologies within the renewable energy landscape.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage renewable energy projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints.
• Develop project plans, including scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Conduct risk analysis and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business development initiatives and strategic planning.
• Prepare and interpret financial reports related to project performance, including profit & loss statements and budget forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting standards, including IFRS and GAAP.
• Oversee financial management aspects such as accounts payable/receivable, cash flow analysis, and balance sheet reconciliation.
• Engage in corporate finance activities including investment management and treasury management.
• Facilitate stakeholder communication through regular updates on project status and financial health.
• Mentor team members to foster professional growth and enhance project execution capabilities.

Skills

• Proficiency in IAS, IFRS, GAAP, ASC 606, and other relevant accounting standards.
• Strong background in corporate accounting, non-profit accounting, governmental accounting, and technical accounting.
• Expertise in financial concepts such as budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, and fiscal management.
• Demonstrated ability in financial report writing and interpretation with a focus on strategic financial planning.
• Knowledge of risk analysis techniques and compliance management practices.
• Excellent leadership skills with a proven track record of managing teams effectively.
• Familiarity with financial software for general ledger accounting, account reconciliation, and bookkeeping tasks.
• Strong analytical skills for conducting financial analysis and investment assessments.
