Position Summary and Location
The job purpose includes the network analysis and design, technology support, client support of the Global Data Solutions Data Network globally. The individual must be qualified at all levels of LAN and WAN, Voice, and Security technologies as per the qualifications listed in the job description. Knowledge of standard project management practices with excellent written and oral communications skills are also required.

REQUIRED

Experience of managing, leading small to medium size team

Should have the ability to define SMART goals with clear and accurate methods for performance management

Well-equipped in handling conflict situations influenced by time or environmental constraints

8+ years of experience directly working with customer and client technical teams

6+ years work experience on Data, Wireless and Security technologies

Experience on following will be

Designing wireless networks for WAN and LAN solutions

IPv4 and IPv6 subnetting and routing

Designing global call routing on Cisco VG, CME, CUE, and CCM.

Certifications : CCNA, CCNP Route & Switch/ CCNP Security / CCNP Voice / CCDA / CCDP / Cisco Data

Center Unified Computing Design Specialist / Cisco Data Center Unified Computing Support Specialist (P)

ITIL V3 (or above) Foundation Certification

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology or equivalent

Good technical capabilities and a background in the network domain are required for this role, along with a basic understanding of the UK and global markets. Ideally the candidate is expected to have experience with multinational companies and a good track record of achievements.

Cisco ASR’s, Nexus, Catalyst 6500’s, 2960’s, 2900 ISR, 4000 ISR, 819, 829, 3560, ASA and WISM product lines

Cisco CME, CUE, SIP, SCCP, Telephony services, Voice Codec’s, and Translation patterns

Routing protocols such as EIGRP, BGP, RIPv2, OSPF, PFRv3 and Static routing protocols while using IPSLA

Knowledge of ITIL framework, project and service delivery management.
Duties and Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL
-
Supervise a team responsible for supporting global communications & network equipment (such as Cisco routers/switches, IP phones, CME, CUE, and wireless LAN equipment) in coordination with Project, Engineering, and Customer teams

Review, understand and make the team aware of all customer SLAs. Report and ensure these SLAs are met Lead major incident management & change management activities
-
Liaison with Service Delivery Team, Customer and Project Management Team for any new project handovers to operations team
-
Act as focal point for new process, projects, device management handover to operations team.
-
Clearly & effectively communicate with customers, prepare performance reports and ensure technical issues are resolved as per committed timelines.

Participate in conferences with other experts to enhance project goals and provide upgrade to various networking programs.
-
Maintain and manage tests for IT based disaster recovery programs.

Standardize support processes (for data, voice, and video) at all sites. Should have the ability to devise mechanisms for Service Improvement

Ensure network designs, configurations, and change requests for Network Operations Center are well
-
documented & regularly reviewed for accuracy. Ensure SOPs are followed by the entire support group

Lead network activity for mobilizations and demobilizations & ensure to have standard documentation in place

Keep track of mandatory training of team members to ensure compliance.

Prepare training modules & suggest training programs to upskill employees. Accordingly ensure employees are getting the needed training. Be a role model & lead performance driven culture. Work with Training Org and perform TNI as required
