Location:Remote/Flexible - we can only consider candidates located in CA, WA, OR, IL, MD, MA, MN, NY, OH, PA, TX, AZ, GA and SC. Offices are located in Los Angeles and Seattle.

Base Camp, Hypothesis in-house quantitative operations department, is integral to the success of all quant research done across the company.
The
Quant Operations Manager
is responsible for ensuring best practices are followed on quantitative research projects at Hypothesis. This includes acting as an
operational guide from project start to finish:
managing project bidding, kick-offs, survey design, fielding, data processing, and occasionally
analysis, while helping to manage project scope throughout.
The role also
involves
identifying and evaluating new opportunities, developing and updating best practice guides and protocols, effectively rolling them out, and measuring their effectiveness.
Team Impact:
- Review questionnaires for logic, research objectives, and respondent experience
- Oversee key phases (link checking, field monitoring, data processing, timelines) and lead vendor kick off meetings
- Contribute to kick off conversations, align on scope, and identify challenges and next steps
- Manage vendors, including negotiating costs, setting expectations, and aligning on scope
- Prepare
data sets in Crunch.io for project teams
- Maintain a library of resources, best
practices, and templates for team training and use
Client Impact:
- Build quantitative expertise by working across a variety of methodologies, positioning yourself as a future client-facing quant research expert
- Partner with Project teams to ensure client needs are met on time and within budget
Business Impact:
- Identify opportunities to improve project efficiency while maintaining quality
- Provide cost and feasibility estimates for bids and recommend competitive pricing options that protect margin targets
- Manage project scope and costs to protect margins
- Contribute to company culture and champion the Hypothesis Way
What You Have:
- 3-5 yearsofdirect market research experienceat amarket researchagency, client company, or supplier side
- Experience with a variety of methodologies withinquantitative research
- Strong sense of project scope management and leadership: be comfortable directingteam members,managing to timelines, anticipating potentialproblems andidentifying solutions
- Strong attention-to-detail and inclination towards process efficiency
- Willingness to learn
and acuriosity about our business
- Collaborative and enjoy working within a team
