- Develop and manage sourcing strategies for assigned categories, balancing cost, quality, and risk considerations.
- Conduct supplier and market analysis to support informed sourcing decisions and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Manage vendor relationships, including onboarding, performance evaluations, and supporting contract negotiations.
- Collaborate with finance and business units to monitor spend, analyze trends, and contribute to budgeting and forecasting.
- Support cross-functional initiatives related to product development, sustainability, and supply chain resilience.
- Monitor commodity markets and assist in implementing basic hedging or mitigation strategies.
- Serve as a key contact for resolving supplier issues and driving continuous improvement in vendor performance.
- Align procurement activities with internal stakeholders to ensure business objectives are met.
- Contribute to supply chain planning for new product introductions, pilot programs, and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or related field or 3+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain in hospitality, foodservice, or CPG.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
- Ability to travel up to 20% by air and car.
