Manager, Laboratory Services – Milton, WI

A leading healthcare organization in Milton, WI is actively hiring a Manager of Laboratory Services for a permanent, full-time role!

Position Highlights:

• Full-time, 80 hours per two-week pay period

Position Overview:
This leadership role assists the Lab Director with the overall operation of the laboratory. Responsibilities include ensuring quality lab services, regulatory compliance, staff management, onboarding, budgeting, and implementation of new technology. You will lead a team of lab professionals while promoting excellence, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with accrediting/regulatory agencies

• Oversee partner training, continuing education, and competency evaluations

• Develop and implement quality improvement processes

• Lead investigations into new technologies and coordinate implementations

• Respond to occurrence reports and patient feedback

• Participate in budgeting, staffing, and recruitment

• Mentor, evaluate, and support lab staff

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science

• 3–5 years of lab leadership experience required

• Experience in a multi-hospital setting

• ASCP certification

• Lean/Six Sigma experience a plus
