MANAGER - DESIGN STANDARDS AND INNOVATION PROGRAMS

Global Electronics Association is seeking a dynamic and visionary Manager – Design Standards and Innovation Programs to lead the development of next- standards, revise critical existing standards, and drive key initiatives that elevate the global electronics design community.
In this important role, you’ll lead, liaise, and collaborate with a global network of design experts—guiding standards from initial concept to publication—and play a key role in advancing design excellence across the electronics industry. Using established tools and processes, you'll manage programs that directly impact how cutting-edge systems are designed and built.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and oversee standards development projects that define and promote best practices in electronics design, leveraging approved tools and established processes.
- Support the launch of new programs and design standards to strengthen Global Electronics Association's leadership in electronics design innovation.
- Coordinate design-focused events from concept to execution, including planning, logistics, and volunteer recognition efforts.
- Provide technical guidance and clear communication on standards interpretation and technology application.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering.
- At least three years of work experience in electronics or related field in design.
- Must be technically minded and focused.
- At least one year of project management related experience.
- Standards Development experience highly .
- Experience working with internal and external teams; ability to collaborate and partner effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills, and able to communicate with upper management.
- Ability to solve problems efficiently and effective
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

The pay range for this position is $70 – 85K. IPC considers education, experience, internal equity, and other qualifying criteria to determine starting payrates. In addition to compensation benefits, Global Electronics Association offers a variety of health and welfare benefits, based on eligibility, including job status/hours worked each week.
