Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Manager, Commercial Operations has the primary responsibilities of developing and managing commercial process improvements, sales pipeline, sales contracts, CRM administration, and sales forecasting.
- Assists sales team with operational tasks, such as data analysis, pipeline review, territory management and dashboard analytics with the goal to maximize sales effectiveness in the field
- Supports sales strategy and execution around sales process and methodology focused on improving productivity, visibility and accountability against sales quotas and goals
- Collaborate with sales leaders to provide performance reporting and analysis for our area sales managers, including quarterly plan and review data and templates for use in the field
- Conduct ongoing analysis of sales trends, track key performance metrics, and maintain data models/dashboards. Work with the commercial and finance teams to develop new processes, influence stakeholders/leadership through fact-based analyses, drive change, and develop solutions.
- Be key point of contact for the sales organization to support and optimize their activity management
- Develop tools and reports to provide visibility of key leading and lagging performance metrics
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the sales funnel/pipeline for the Sales organization including forecasting sales across multiple customer segments and products
- Manage sales contracts (DocuSign) and execution processes with continuous improvement implementations over time
- Serve as the lead point of contact for sales management/activity and develop data-based insights to improve performance
- Manage relationships with external partners/vendors of commercial data sets
- Partner with other Sonendo teams on cross functional initiatives to standardize KPI’s and processes
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the Commercial Operations Team (daily sales, contracts, customer success, troubleshooting customer facing facets etc.)
- Hire, train/develop and retain Commercial Operations team members to support the needs of the business
- Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
- Maintain compliance with Quality System procedures and company policies
Education Requirement: Bachelors degree or equivalent in a business field.
Experience Requirements: Five or more years’ experience in commercial operations, sales operations, or business analysis (or similar) in medical device or technical device industries.
Other Required Skills and Qualities: Growth-oriented problem solver who can create a scaled environment for company growth. Data-driven professional who is comfortable with data analysis and working with large data sets. Ability to work as a team player and follow company policy, procedures and strategy. Experience with designing and implementing process improvements. Comfortable with CRM systems and databases.
Qualifications: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows (Excel, Word and PowerPoint). Fluent with Salesforce.com and tools like Tableau. Experience with managing sales agreements and sales pipeline.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
- Must be able to safely move up to 25 lbs
- The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for 50% of the time.
- Must be able to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
Compensation:
We pay competitively. Base salary range is $100,000 - $120,000. Other paid compensation and benefits may be available.
