This position requires a self-motivated individual with leadership abilities.  
The employee must practice safe work ethics and good judgment at all times.  
Experience in troubleshooting, all facets of production equipment in a maintenance
environment.  Ability to assist and direct outside contractors and vendors in 
maintaining and troubleshooting all capital equipment.  Flexible work habits 
complement this individual in a high demanding area.  Requirements include 
supporting the production requirement as needed including scheduled overtime of 
production and maintenance.

Essential Job Functions:

The Maintenance Technician duties include but are not limited to the following items:

1. Maintain all plant production equipment, emergency lighting, fire
2. Protection and plant facilities.
3. Perform all planned preventive and predictive maintenance procedures.
4. Assist production during product change over.
5. Complete all maintenance work order and project assignments.
6. Assist outside contractor during project work.
7. Fill out and complete all paperwork.   

Education:

High School Graduate with Technical or minimum 2 years work related experience

 .

Qualifications:

Knowledgeable with the ability to perform maintenance and troubleshoot

 in the following areas, blueprint reading, welding and cutting structural fabrications

using tig, mig and arc, electrical and basic electronic components, hydraulics,

pneumatics theory, principals, schematics and basic mechanical physics of

machines.  Safety knowledge or training in the following areas is a must fire prevention,

 weld safety, hazardous material storage, high pressure steam, confine space entry,

lockout/tagout and all hazards associated with working in a manufacturing environment. 

Capable of machining and fabrication from concept drawings to completed project

using all associate equipment and tools.
