Maintenance Technician
Job Summary: Perform all tasks related to maintenance repair and other functions. Provide support to all areas of the manufacturing facility.
Job Duties Required:
Performs preventive, troubleshooting and repairs, on machinery, equipment, and facility. Repairing and maintaining all facilities mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, equipment and machinery in order to ensure maximum equipment efficiency and effectiveness.
Diagnoses mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic problems and conduct needed repairs. Utilize company resources such as blueprints, repair manuals, schematics and diagrams to complete repairs and setup new machinery and equipment.
Maintain parts usage, maintenance records, work orders, and service history. Oversee and maintain spare parts, supplies, and inventory tools.
Performs routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
Complies with all safety policies and procedures. Reports unsafe activities to supervisor and/or a Health Safety and Environmental team. Participates in proactive teams to achieve company goals.
Qualifications: "Safety Sensitive Position"
3 + years of maintenance experience in an Industrial, Manufacturing or Production environment required.
Mechanical experience required. Ability to read and understand mechanical blueprints.
Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatics and hydraulics required.
Basic computer skills needed. Ability to problem solve, organize and communicate well with others.
Ability to work and complete tasks with little supervision or as a team. Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., pass background check and drug screening.
Education: • High School Diploma or equivalent required
Work Environment: "Safety Sensitive Position"
• Potentially moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical currents, oils and chemicals.
• Repetitive use of hands, standing, bending, and ability to work in varied conditions.
