HiFyve is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician (Night Shift) in the manufacturing industry in Washington, MO!
Salary: $32–$36 per hour + ample overtime available
Shift: Night Shift
Location: Washington, MO
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment to minimize downtime
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
- Read and interpret machine electrical and mechanical schematics and blueprints
- Diagnose and repair programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electronic circuits, motors, and control systems
- Use diagnostic tools such as multimeters and other electrical testing equipment
- Rebuild, repair, and install mechanical and electrical components and equipment
- Fabricate or modify parts and systems to support production goals
- Maintain clear communication across shifts and with leadership on maintenance issues
- Contribute to plant-wide goals for safety, quality, and continuous improvement
Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience
- Strong working knowledge of 3-phase motors, VFDs, overhead cranes, forklifts, and heavy industrial wiring
- Proven ability to troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Familiarity with PLCs and other automated control systems
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Comfortable using Windows-based software and maintenance systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and organizational skills
