Summary

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment. This role focuses on electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and calibration duties to ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment.

Responsibilities

Calibration & Instrumentation

  • Perform calibrations, accuracy checks, and temperature surveys on process control instruments (temperature controllers, vacuum controllers, timers).
  • Check processing gas purity with dew point meters; record all results in logs/software.
  • Correct out-of-tolerance conditions in coordination with Quality and retest for compliance.
  • Maintain thermocouple sensor and wire inventory; request supplies as needed.
  • Complete preventative maintenance per schedule.

Electrical

  • Repair and replace control instruments and facility operation devices.
  • Install electrical equipment, wiring, and fixtures.
  • Work with PLCs; knowledge of PLC codes/functions is a plus.

Mechanical & Plumbing

  • Perform general and preventative maintenance on production and support equipment.
  • Inspect and dismantle machinery/equipment to repair defective parts.
  • Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, pulleys, and other machine components.
  • Repair and maintain gauges, valves, regulators, and plumbing equipment.
  • Support facility repairs to meet OSHA, safety, and quality standards.
  • Help maintain spare parts and materials inventory.

Additional Duties

  • Operate furnaces when needed: follow work orders, set furnace programs (time/temperature), monitor controls/gauges, and document processes.
  • Read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and equipment manuals.
  • Work with water-cooling systems, vacuum pumps, and atmosphere/vacuum environments.
  • Share technical expertise and recommend process improvements.

Background

  • Electrical or plumbing license, or vocational/apprenticeship training (, not required).
  • Strong technical skills with calibration, electrical, and plumbing tools.
