Join us at Abaris Real Estate, where you'll be an essential part of our team as a Maintenance Technician. Your expertise will be key in maintaining and enhancing the quality of our properties, ensuring they remain safe and welcoming for our . You'll perform a variety of maintenance, repair, and installation tasks that keep our communities running smoothly.
Compensation:
$50,000 - $57,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
- Perform general repairs and maintenance tasks, including carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, drywall, flooring, and HVAC work.
- Install and repair fixtures such as doors, windows, shelves, lighting, and appliances.
- Conduct property inspections upon request to identify and address maintenance needs.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Collaborate with property managers, boards, and contractors to coordinate repairs and improvements.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies.
- Document and maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Provide recommendations for preventative maintenance and property improvements if noted.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a handyman, maintenance technician, or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of general repair techniques and building systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Physical ability to lift, climb, and perform manual labor as required.
- Valid driver’s license.
