Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Stokesdale, NC
Pay Range: $25/hour
Shift: Mon-Fri 3-11:30pm- OT as needed
What's the Job?
- Provide support for production operations and lead complex maintenance activities with team assistance.
- Mentor and train junior technicians to enhance team skills and efficiency.
- Utilize a variety of hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment to perform maintenance tasks.
- Read and interpret mechanical and wiring diagrams, service manuals, and troubleshooting guides.
- Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and safety checks to ensure optimal equipment performance.
What's Needed?
- At least 2 years of technical training or 5+ years of related experience in industrial maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical devices, electrical controls, and troubleshooting skills.
- Prior Lockout/Tagout experience and basic computer skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights, and endure various environmental conditions.
