Position Overview
We're a packaging and containers manufacturer that is looking for a maintenance technician to join our team! The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs. This role is critical in minimizing downtime and maintaining production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in equipment and systems.
  • Execute repairs on faulty equipment, including PLC, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols and regulations.
  • Document maintenance activities and report on equipment conditions regularly.
  • Collaborate with other technical staff to optimize machine performance and reliability.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications are a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical repair skills.
  • Familiarity with PLC, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems is .
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
