Overview

Full Time Maintenance technician needed for 150 year old ,family owned, packaging business. Must be familiar with mechanical repairs. Electrical, hydraulics, and pneumatic skills would be . Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Disassembles machines to repair or replace broken or worn parts.
• Maintain all doors and exits.
• maintain loading dock plates for safe operation.
• Maintain all lighting in factory, warehouse and office.
• Follow maintenance schedule for prevention maintenance of all equipment.
• Maintain all furnaces and fans for safe operation.
• Inspect bags being produced for accuracy, quality and cleanliness.
• Inspect for trucks weekly, operation and safety.
• Inspect battery chargers weekly as for operating correctly.
• Air compressors are inspected daily with preventive maintenance checklist.
• Inspect grounds daily for security issues.
• Purchase Items as needed.
• Maintain MSDS logs.
• Maintain hazcom logs.

Experience

• Proven experience in maintenance roles within manufacturing or similar environments is .
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical testing.
• Previous supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities in a team setting.
• Excellent communication skills in English are required for effective collaboration with team members and management.
