Maintenance Technician

Kemco is currently in the process of ramping up manufacturing capacity to support customer needs and is in need of highly skilled team members to support the manufacturing operations.

Please note that the following duties and requirements described herein are intended to represent general contents of this job:
- Perform preventative maintenance on production machines, material handling equipment, and physical plant systems
- Performs upgrades and install new systems when required
- Keep maintenance area clean and organized so materials and tools are easily located.
- Perform routine maintenance; small plumbing repairs, painting, patching of walls, lighting, outdoor facility upkeep (no lawn care required), and material handling equipment such as lift trucks and pallet jacks.
- Troubleshoot and repair a variety of industrial machines and equipment.
- Work with vendor technicians to troubleshoot issues with CNC machines
- Maintain records for preventative maintenance and repairs and machine manuals and instructions.
- Operate forklifts and high lifts and other powered lift equipment as needed
- Requirements:
- Experience working with industrial machinery
- Ability to use available resources to solve problems, including use of vendor machine manuals
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Work cooperatively with others
- Ability to perform job duties with strong commitment to safety and accident prevention.
- Manage multiple priorities
- Attention to detail and ability to solve mechanical problems

Working Conditions - Work involves frequent standing, bending, kneeling, walking and lifting (up to 50 lbs.) in a manufacturing and warehouse environment.
