We’re looking for a Maintenance Technician in Providence, RI to take charge of the upkeep and enhancement of our community spaces, from rental units and common areas to grounds and parking lots.

Shift: 8-hour shift, M-F & on-call.  You will follow a set schedule pattern, with any changes communicated by your supervisor. Flexibility and adaptability are needed.

As a Maintenance Technician you will:

• Keep our properties in top shape, handling everything from painting and lawn care to electrical work and snow removal.
• Ensure newly vacated apartments are ready for the next resident with thorough ‘turnover’ maintenance.
• Regularly assess the property, proactively addressing maintenance concerns and collaborating with the Maintenance Supervisor on solutions.
• Oversee vendor work as needed and safely operate power tools and equipment.

Experience Required for Your Success

What We Are Looking For:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1+ year of relevant experience with general knowledge in basic electrical, basic plumbing, appliances, and HVAC.
• Must have strong experience in PTAC's
• Strong communication and customer service skills, with a commitment to professionalism and respect for our .
• Flexibility to handle after-hours maintenance calls and participate in the on-call rotation.
