We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join a power facility New Mexico. This role is critical to maintaining reliable operations by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical equipment in a combined-cycle power plant.
What you’ll do

Install, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment, piping, valves, pumps, compressors, and turbine components

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant systems and auxiliary equipment

Conduct inspections, measurements, and adjustments to ensure safe and efficient operations

Fabricate, weld, and machine parts as needed for equipment repair or upgrades

Participate in the plant’s preventive maintenance program using CMMS

Support safety initiatives, report hazards, and follow compliance standards
What we’re looking for

At least 4 years of experience as a power plant mechanic, millwright, or equivalent role

Strong knowledge of pumps, valves, compressors, and turbine components

Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and rigging equipment

Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems in an industrial environment

Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
-
Physical ability to climb, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in varied shifts including weekends and holidays
