We’re seeking a dependable and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. The technician will perform routine pond cleanings, seasonal openings and shutdowns, equipment inspections, and general water-feature maintenance for residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working outdoors, and eager to learn the art of pond care and water-feature systems.

 

 

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

 

  • Perform pond cleanings, water changes, and filter maintenance
  • Conduct inspections on pumps, skimmers, filters, and plumbing components
  • Identify and report leaks, damage, or performance issues
  • Handle aquatic plants (trimming, re-potting, and fertilization)
  • Perform seasonal pond openings and winterizations
  • Assist with pond builds, liner repairs, and rockwork when needed
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite at all times
  • Communicate professionally with clients and team members
  • Record service details using company checklists and field reports

 

 

 

 

 

Requirements

 

 

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to learn water-feature systems and equipment operation
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Punctual, professional, and self-motivated

 

 

Experience (not required):

 

  • Landscaping, irrigation, or pond maintenance experience
  • Basic plumbing, electrical, or equipment operation skills (mini-ex, Dingo, etc.)
