Training will be for 2 weeks Monday to Friday 6am to 6pmand then will transition to nights.
Interview: Manager will be conducting interviews
Maintenance Technician:
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible formaintaining and repairing production
equipment and machinery to ensure maximum uptime andefficiency. This position requires
knowledge in PLC (Programmable Logic Controller)troubleshooting and programming, planning,
strong electrical skills, as well as knowledge ofmechanical, welding, and fabrication, and MRO
(Maintenance, Repair, and Operations). Additionally, theMaintenance Technician must possess
good communication skills and be knowledgeable ofMicrosoft Office Suite.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are notlimited to the following. Other duties may
be assigned as necessary.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and PLCissues on production equipment and machinery.
Follow established maintenance plans and schedules forequipment and machinery.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtimeand extend equipment life.
Fabricate and weld components as required.
Order and manage spare parts and supplies for MRO.
Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance andrepairs.
Assist senior maintenance technicians as needed.
Ensure compliance with safety and environmentalregulations.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High School or GED with technical training orcertification in electrical, mechanical, or
related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrialmaintenance
PLC programming and troubleshooting
Strong electrical skills
Knowledge of mechanical, welding, and fabrication
Knowledge of MRO
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings andschematics
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
There are some essential physical requirements specificto our work environment,
including being able to:
Stand for 10 - 12 hours straight
Climb and descend stairs/ladder as needed for the role
Do repetitive movements (hand, arm, leg; bending andtwisting at the waist; bending at the knee; squatting; lift, push and pull40-pounds)
Withstand exposure to temperature extremes; sounds ornoise levels that may be uncomfortable
Handle, control and feel raw materials and finished goods
Ability to work overtime as necessary
Safeguard self and others with Personal ProtectiveEquipment (PPE):
Steel-toed shoes
Eye protection (glasses, goggles, and/or facemask)
Hearing protection and long-sleeved shirt and pants asnecessary for task
