Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced maintenance person to join our team! As a Maintenance Technician, under the direction of the Physical Properties Manager, completed assigned tasks individually and as a team, while maintaining high standards of workmanship and effective completion of work assignments. This includes all buildings, pools, recreation areas, the landscaping of grounds, streets and all common areas used by . Provides technical expertise in maintaining all equipment in the resort, including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, HVAC, landscaping, plumbing and general building maintenance. Typical hours are M-F 430am-1pm
Responsibilities
· Maintain all resort equipment, for example tools, vehicles, pump/motors, small electrical, housekeeping equipment, pool equipment.
· Performs repairs on gates, block walls, wire fences, sewer lines, main water lines, fountains, HVAC, and irrigation
· Perform maintenance duties i.e. painting, filters, electrical, plumbing, doors/locks, and all other duties assigned by Physical Properties Manager.
· Maintain and keep shop clean, safe and in order
· Notifies Physical properties Manager when supplies need to be ordered
· Report needed repairs and complete assigned w/o’s.
· Provides service to Landscaping care, pool cleaning, and housekeeping maintenance.
· Assist in cross training Maintenance Staff of other duties.
Working knowledge of water and sewer infrastructures.
· Oversee watering schedules to irrigation
· Be on call after hours and act as first response to emergencies/concerns.
· Oversee Landscaper and thoroughness of weed program
· When assigned, will take lead on projects with other maintenance staff
· Be well versed in Pool and AM duties in preparation to pool opening. Obtaining or having CPO certification
Participate in Weed Program, having or obtaining state license through OPM
· Perform all other duties as assigned by Physical Properties Manager.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in maintenance is required.
- A thorough knowledge of safety procedures, storage and use of hazardous materials, safety equipment types and usage
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to perform maintenance operations
- Must be organized, and able to keep good records.
- Must have or obtain CPO and Weed License.
- Ability to work in adverse conditions
