Schedule: 1st Shift (Mon–Fri, 8 AM–5 PM) | Future 2nd & 3rd Shift Build-Out

Are you a seasoned Maintenance Manager ready to lead in a fast-paced, KPI-driven environment? We’re seeking a dynamic professional to oversee maintenance operations for a state-of-the-art, highly automated production facility.

About the Role

As Maintenance Manager, you’ll be responsible for planning, scheduling, and executing maintenance programs that keep production running smoothly. You’ll lead a growing team, manage budgets, and implement best practices to ensure equipment reliability and compliance with safety standards. This role requires adaptability, strong leadership, and a passion for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Maintenance Planning & Scheduling

    • Develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs.

    • Schedule activities around production to minimize downtime.

    • Maintain accurate equipment history and work order records.

  2. Team Leadership & Supervision

    • Lead, train, and manage technicians and electricians.

    • Assign tasks and monitor performance.

    • Ensure compliance with safety and technical standards.

  3. Equipment Reliability & Performance

    • Monitor and improve machine and utility reliability.

    • Troubleshoot breakdowns quickly to restore operations.

    • Collaborate with production teams on recurring issues.

  4. Budgeting & Cost Control

    • Manage maintenance budgets and spare parts inventory.

    • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising safety.

  5. Health, Safety & Compliance

    • Ensure OSHA and environmental compliance.

    • Implement lockout/tagout and emergency response plans.

    • Conduct routine safety inspections.

  6. Continuous Improvement

    • Apply Lean, TPM, or Six Sigma principles to reduce downtime.

    • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.

    • Stay current with new maintenance technologies.

  7. Facility & Utility Management

    • Oversee HVAC, compressed air, water, and power distribution.

    • Manage building maintenance and general facility upkeep.

  8. Vendor & Contractor Management

    • Coordinate with contractors for specialized services.

    • Negotiate service agreements and evaluate vendor performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field .

  • 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience in manufacturing.

  • Experience in wood industry and large-scale production environments a plus.

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and facility systems.

  • Proven ability to manage teams and adapt to change in a fast-paced setting.
