Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for keeping machines running at their best? We are conducting a confidential search on behalf of a global manufacturing leader for a skilled Maintenance Technician / Mechanic to join their team in Columbus, OH.

This is a key role that ensures equipment reliability, supports daily plant operations, and drives workplace safety, all while contributing to exciting plant upgrades and modernization projects.

️ What You'll Do

• Perform both routine and complex mechanical/electrical maintenance on plant equipment.

• Troubleshoot, repair, and implement preventive measures to maximize operational uptime.

• Support installations, equipment relocations, and plant upgrades.

• Maintain compliance with safety and operational standards.

• Work with welders, forklifts, and diagnostic devices as part of daily maintenance.

What You Bring

• Technical certification or equivalent experience.

• 3+ years of hands-on mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing.

• Proficiency in welding (TIG, MIG, Plasma) and use of shop tools.

• Working knowledge of pumps, gearboxes, and hydraulic systems.

• Experience operating forklifts and assisting with equipment projects.
