Your Responsibilities:

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Lawrence, MA. This is a full-time opportunity at a community with 164 units of affordable family housing. Your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Performing in-unit repairs, preventative maintenance, and preparing apartments for new occupancy.
• Completing work orders, including light electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work, and general building maintenance.
• Providing access to and supervising contractors as needed.
• Conducting inspections and maintaining building systems.
• Updating maintenance logs and work order status.
• Performing groundskeeping and maintenance of exterior and common areas.

The work hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30am-3:30pm with on-call duties shared on rotation.

Your Qualifications:

We are looking for a team player with excellent communication skills and a strong customer service philosophy.

• Knowledge of general apartment repair, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC is required.
• Experience with REAC/NSPIRE inspections is .
• Experience with Yardi would also be a plus.
• A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required.

Pay Range: $25-29/hour depending on previous experience.
