Maintenance Technician | Lansing, MI

Salary Range: $51,000 - $83,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production machinery and facilities.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
• Install, commission, and modify new manufacturing equipment and systems.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals for repairs and installations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts used, and equipment status.
• Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing PLCs and industrial control systems
• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and motor control systems
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in welding (MIG, TIG, Stick) and basic fabrication.
• Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• HVAC system maintenance and repair experience.
• Robotics or automation system troubleshooting experience.
