Job Title: Maintenance Technician
\nLocation: Greer, South Carolina,29650
\nWork Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 3 PM to 1 AM
\nPay rate: USD $ 22.20
\nContract: 4-month duration (temp to hire)
\nCore Responsibilities:\n\n
- \n\t
- Troubleshoot and repair production equipment promptly, thoroughly, and cost-effectively\n\t
- Conduct preventive maintenance checks on assigned equipment and report findings\n\t
- Complete work orders and update the maintenance tracking system\n\t
- Identify/correct electrical issues, including drives and PLCs\n\t
- Ensure machine productivity and quality after repairs, changeovers, and downtime\n\t
- Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies\n\t
- Address and rectify any immediate safety concerns for employees\n\t
- Maintain the building's safety and appearance, including utilities, ventilation, housekeeping, and plumbing\n\t
- Communicate current and potential issues with group leaders/maintenance manager\n\t
- Perform welding (MIG and/or arc) as required\n\t
- Operate a forklift (training provided if needed)\n\t
- Perform other related duties as assigned\n
\nQualifications:\n\n
- \n\t
- High school diploma or GED (not required); certifications but not required\n\t
- 1–3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, or an equivalent combination of experience and training\n\t
- Must understand and interpret gauges, tools, and instruments related to product quality and equipment repair\n\t
- Good working knowledge of electricity and troubleshooting\n\t
- Experience with PLCs and drives \n\t
- Welding experience (MIG and/or arc) required\n\t
- Forklift operation experience required\n
