Company Overview:
GTI specializes in the design, engineering, fabrication, and deployment of custom modular structures, shipping container-based structures, and ballistic metal fabrication. We serve multiple industries, including DOD contractors, military, disaster relief, and commercial markets. Our containerized and modular solutions are built in-house at our manufacturing facility in Goodyear, AZ. Manufacturing capabilities range from military training structures, live fire enclosures, bathroom/shower units, expeditionary camps, medical facilities, water treatment systems, and electrical/energy storage enclosures.
Primary Responsibilities:
Facility & Grounds Maintenance:
- Lawn care, weed control, and general landscaping upkeep
- Irrigation monitoring and minor repairs
- Debris removal, dust control, and general exterior upkeep
- Trash removal and emptying hoppers
Facility Maintenance & Operations:
- Perform and assist with preventive maintenance (PM) activities, including tracking, logging, and completing scheduled work orders for facility equipment
- Support basic troubleshooting and repairs across electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems
- Operate and maintain facility equipment such as ride-on floor sweepers/scrubbers and forklifts
- Support routine inspections and upkeep of building systems
- Assist Facilities Manager in monitoring and coordinating subcontractors and vendors
General Support:
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas inside and outside the facility
- Support facility readiness in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance or related field
- Hands-on preventive maintenance experience
- Valid Arizona Driver’s License
- Experience operating outdoor power equipment
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain
- Ability to operate floor sweepers/scrubbers
- Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards
- Ability to work in outdoor conditions, including heat
Qualifications:
- Experience in commercial or industrial facilities environments
- Working knowledge of electrical, HVAC, and/or plumbing systems
- Experience using CMMS systems or maintenance tracking software
