Job Title:           Maintenance Technician
Duration:          3+ months (C2H)
Location:         Flanders, NJ 07836

Shift:                   M-F 6:30am - 3pm (1st shift)

About the Role:

As a CBRE Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining and supporting the operation of small to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and related equipment. You will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing issues, and executing repairs to ensure all building systems function safely, efficiently, and in compliance with standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist in the installation, modification, and troubleshooting of building equipment and systems.
• Review and complete assigned work orders, ensuring accuracy and timely documentation.
• Support energy management initiatives by ensuring building systems operate efficiently.
• Inspect existing installations to ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Apply existing procedures to solve straightforward problems and communicate effectively with team members.
• Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines to deliver quality maintenance services.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: High School Diploma, GED, or Trade School certification . Equivalent education and experience will be considered.
• Experience: 1–2 years of related maintenance or technical experience.
• Technical Skills:
• • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
• Physical Requirements:
• • Ability to stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs/ladders.
  • Ability to lift and carry loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Soft Skills:
• • Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.
  • Effective communication skills for clear and concise information exchange.
  • Ability to follow established routines and safety standards.
