The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the installation, repair, and ongoing maintenance of production equipment, machinery, and facility systems. This role plays a key part in ensuring all equipment operates efficiently and safely while meeting food safety, quality, and production standards. The technician will work closely with Operations and Quality teams to support a safe and compliant manufacturing environment.
**Key Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance on all production and facility equipment according to established schedules

Troubleshoot and repair equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime

Install, modify, and maintain mechanical and facility equipment as needed

Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment safety, reliability, and performance

Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation in compliance with company and regulatory requirements

Collaborate with Quality Assurance to ensure all maintenance activities meet food safety standards

Support continuous improvement initiatives and recommend equipment upgrades or process improvements

Follow all safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and proper use of PPE

Participate in ongoing training and stay current with maintenance best practices and new technologies

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Perform additional duties as assigned by management
